19-day Long Samartha Bharat Parva Culminates with Pushpanjali on Vivekananda Jayanti

 

Nalbari, 13th January 2022: 19-day long Samartha Bharat Parva (25 December to 12 January), which celebrates India's strengths and glories commemorating Swami Vivekananda's 3-day long meditation on 25th, 26th and 27th December 1892 in the famous mid-sea rock at Kanyakumari dedicating his life for the humanity culminated with Pushpanjali Anusthan on the occasion of Vivekananda Jayanti on 12th January 2022.

Like the rest of the country Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Nalbari paid homage to Swami Vivekananda, the greatest youth leader of the nation, by celebrating Vivekananda Jayanti or National Youth Day with Pushpanjali programme in the nooks and crannies of Nalbari district on 12th January 2022.

Every year Swami Vivekananda's birthday is celebrated as National Youth Day and Vivekananda Jayanti remembering his contributions. The monk who changed the world with his thoughts and works was vocal about the importance and the power of the youth. The 159th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda was celebrated by the students, teachers and the parents of VKV Nalbari giving a message to the masses about the ideals that will make India a Jagadguru in the comity of nations.

 VKV, Nalbari observed the National Youth Day in 76 locations of Nalbari sensitizing the masses about the thoughts and ideas of Swami Vivekanada. The observance of the day started with Pushpanjali on the school premises where the teaching and non-teaching staff of the vidyalaya offered flowers at the lotus feet of Swamiji and the teachers dispersed to various locations of Nalbari to hold Pushpanjali Anushthaan.

 In total 76 areas of Nalbari the anushthaan was held with the co-operation of the students, their parents and the teachers of VKV Nalbari, and in these many senior citizens and renowned people of the town too participated.  During the observance the covid-19 protocol was maintained. In total 868 people took part in the celebration.
